The Foundation furthers the practice of orthopaedic medicine through educational and scientific program support. Coming September 2025 - Resident Research Grant ProgramThe PAOrtho Foundation awards grants annually for up to $5,000 to help cover the direct costs of small research projects that can be carried out in a short period of time. Typical study scope can include, but is not limited to self-contained research projects, pilot studies, and secondary analysis of existing data. The program is open only to PAOrtho members who are enrolled as PGY2 or PGY3 resident physicians in an ACGME or AOA approved orthopaedic surgical residency program in Pennsylvania.
